Emma offers online and face to face training for school leaders on a range of topics including Early Years and Autonomous learning, Supervision and Coaching, and a range of topical issues affecting the Education Sector including connection, collaboration and finding joy. She is also a Mentor for the Embedding Formative Assessment programme, bringing unique ways of working to Primary Schools.

Supervision and Coaching training:

Training information on supervision and coaching including the Demand Supervision training session 'Why supervision fails and how to fix it', plus the free downloads can be found here.

Early Years:

On demand early years training can be found here. Emma also specialises in supporting leadership teams to develop knowledge and understanding about the Early Years curriculum and best practise. It can be common for members of SLT to not have wide experience teaching in the EYFS and, as a result, ensuring support and challenge in this area can be difficult. Emma can work with your team to upskill their knowledge using bespoke offers ranging from half a day training to several days including audits, monitoring, training and development.

Key topics for training and key notes:

The following key topics can be delivered as part of consultancy support, training sessions for leaders and key notes. All topics can be personalised to the needs of your organisation, Emma is passionate about supporting teams to engage in powerful group training which engages, challenges and stimulates thinking to make change.

Embedding Formative Assessment:

Emma works as an independent mentor for SSAT supporting schools to implement the EEF backed Embedding Formative Assessment programme, primarily working in Secondary schools who receive EEF funding.

Emma is passionate about the impact of the programme and is working with SSAT to bring it into more Primary Schools.

Embedding Formative Assessment is brilliant because:

  • it’s built on a vast amount of research into formative assessment,
  • it embeds impactful strategies that really make a difference to teachers practise and in turn the learning of young people, and…
  • it’s a manageable programme planned in line with the EEF implementation guidance and works across 2 years.

If you are a leader in a Primary School, or Primary MAT join our FREE information event on Wednesday 2nd October at 4pm. Or book a call with Emma to discuss how you can gain access to the programme.
